The main PRV’s that provide steam to RGH are original and and must be replaced urgently. Items to be replaced are four (4) Main Isolation Valves, one (1) Bypass Valve, two (2) Strainers, two (2) PRV Actuating Valve Controllers, and four (4) Regulating Stations (including valve actuator and switching from pneumatic to pneumatic/digital.)
The work associated with this phase involves upgrading door security, hardware and surveillance equipment throughout the hospital. This included creating alternative pathways and IP&C hoardings to allow for the work to take place.
