Granite Drive Plaza

Granite Drive Plaza is a new addition to the shopping district in New Minas, Nova Scotia. Bird was commissioned to build an additional 16,000 square foot building shell to the existing 45,000 square foot mall. Major retailers include Winners and Future Shop. Similar to the existing structure, Bird constructed a one-storey steel structure cladded in steel and masonry siding, EIFS stucco with an EPDM roofing system. The team completed this project on schedule and under budget by working uninterrupted through the winter season. Bird turned this project over to the client with zero deficiencies.
