The new centre has 140 beds in seven in-patient units, clinical support services, and administration services. It also serves as the provincial forensic psychiatric facility.

The new hospital is designed to LEED^®Silver specifications, offering a modern and safe working environment for employees and doctors, and above all, the patients.
