A spacious, modern indoor public area with high ceilings, hanging light fixtures, scattered tables and chairs, and people walking or sitting. Large windows let in natural light and a wooden structure hangs from the ceiling.

During construction, Bird overcame the technicalities and coordination necessary for work on an active airfield including scheduling, cranes, apron lighting and military security.

The strong working relationship with both the owner representative and architect yielded a collaborative and positive experience, and culminated in the completion of the new terminal building on time and on budget.
